The good, the bad, and the ugly

The good: We found the well!! It was buried, but we found it and it is working!

The bad: There is a leak in the pipes that run up to the barn, but a semi-easy fix

In other news!!!

Joe and I are starting our first home renovation! It is a complete demo job, but we are up for the task! It is a tiny 950 sq.ft house on 4 acres with an amazing barn/wood shop.  First thing on our list is to create a livable space within the barn.  We will be living in our loft-syle barn until the home renovations are complete. 

Things are about to get very interesting!

It has been a while since my last entry, so there is a lot of catching up to do! My show at the Waddell Gallery went well and secured two more shows this year! Here are some photos of my work thus far for the year.

Hi! My name is Amy and this is my blog! I am an artist and an antiques dealer at The Old Lucketts Store in Leesburg, VA.

I am currently Working towards an up-coming art show at the Wadell Gallery in Sterling, VA. My open reception will be Wednesday, February 27th. I will have my paintings and wood constructions on display February 18th through March 22, 2013.
